OUR STORY
Bicky's Cycle Shed is located in Parkes NSW.
Owned and operated by Aaron "Bicky" Arnott.
Bicky has been servicing bikes for 20 years and is a Qualified Bicycle Mechanic with his Certificate III in Bicycle Mechanical Technology.
Other than the love for his two sons, Bicky's love of bikes means his partner Anna is always telling people "He's just gone for a ride"
This passion for bikes includes the love of providing repairs and maintenance for other riders.

Mudgee Classic
The Mudgee Classic is held near the end of April each year. Each year I have the opportunity to be a Team mechanic at the Classic. It is an experience each year to see the competiors and all the sponsors get together for an enjoyable weekend.

Sydney Morning Herald meets Cycle Parkes at Bogan Gate
We had the pleasure of showing Rob McFarland and his partner Ellen Dame from The Sydney Morning Herald around one of the gravel rides on Cycle Parkes site with Visit Parkes Tourism. Started and finished at the Bogan Gate Pub. Fantastic Ride, 3 flowing water crossings, native wildlife and a counter lunch to finish off the afternoon.

Bowral Classic
The Bowral Classic is another Bike competition that I am invited to mechanic at each year. It is held in Bowral and its surrounding suburbs in October and attracts a large amount of competitors.

SERVICING
How often should your bike be serviced?
If you use your bike with any regularity you will need to get it periodically serviced, this has a number of benefits including enhanced performance and decreased wear and tear.
Our advised servicing periods
* Every six months - for regular riders, road bikes and racers
* Every twelve months - for weekend riders and bikes that just sit in the shed

* Tune Gears
* Inspect and Adjust Brakes including Brake Pad Wear
* Lube Chain and Cables
* Check all bolts and fittings for correct Torque settings
* Fit new cables if required
